Dolores Dilova
Dolores Dilova was born in 1960 in Pleven. She is the daughter of the artist Dilo Dilov - one of the brightest representatives of Impressionism in Bulgarian art. Inheriting her father's worldview and talent, at the age of seven she won an award in a children's drawing competition in Italy. She has participated in exhibitions in Austria, France, USA, Russia, England, Greece, Italy, Hungary and others.
Dolores Dilova is the winner of the first prize in the competition "Young Painter" - 1987 and the prize of the competition "Man and the Sea" - 1988, "Exhibition of the Year" for 1998, the Grand Prize of the Union of Bulgarian Artists at the Biennale of Small Form , 2008, nominated for the national award "V. Dimitrov - The Master ”2013, the Grand Prize for Painting at the Biennale“ Friends of the Sea ”, Burgas 2014.
Her works are available at the National Gallery of Fine Arts and other galleries in the country, as well as in private galleries and collections in France, England, Italy, Germany, Japan, Israel, USA, Spain, Austria, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Cyprus, Switzerland and etc.
Since 1993 he has been the founder and lecturer at the Jules Pasquin Private Academy of Fine Arts. In 1997 he won a competition and specialized in Paris, France. In 2003 she was one of the founders of the WOMEN'S LIBERAL NETWORK in Bulgaria, and since 2011 she has been a member of the Board of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and Chairman of the Board of the Foundation "Maintenance of Art in Bulgaria.
