Gencho Denchev

Gencho Denchev was born in Sofia in 1932. He graduated in painting from the Art Academy in 1956.

"Gencho Denchev is a modern author, not so much in terms of external artistic features, but in essence, in spirit, in terms of interpretation of events, in relation to the plot...

His account has been suffered and carried creatively and humanely, so that we believe in his path as an artist - in the one he has passed and the one ahead" - Svetlin Rusev
